Members are required to perform one external audit every three years to maintain their Clean Plants certification.


Remote external audits are now offered by the Clean Plants program. Members may choose between remote, in-person or a hybrid of both formats depending on what best suits their operations.

A usual, members not scheduled for an external audit this year are required to submit two internal audit reports to maintain their certification.
